Therapy Fees & Rebates

The fee for a standard 50 minute therapy session ranges from $100 to $270 depending upon the type of service provided and the clinician’s experience and qualifications.

Student Psychologist - $100 ($80 concession card holders)

Provisional Psychologist - $205

General Psychologist - $225

Senior Psychologist - $235

Clinical Psychologist - $270

Please note we are not a bulk billing practice. Please discuss low fee options with your GP.

If you have been referred by your GP to see a General Psychologist and have a mental health care plan, you may receive a Medicare rebates for sessions.  The Medicare rebate is $96.65 per session for General Psychologists and $149.05 for Clinical Psychologists. The full session fee is paid at the time of the appointment, and rebates are generally issued within 24 hours. There are no rebates applicable to Provisional Psychology appointments.

The fee for assessment sessions range from $270 to $300. Please note Medicare does not cover all assessments. With a referral from a Paediatrician, Medicare rebates can be provided for some autism assessments. Rebates from private health insurance may apply.

Assessment Session Fee Per Hour- $270 to $300 per hour depending on assessment type

Report Cost - $645 to $1000 depending on assessment type.

Individual assessment fees differ depending on the type of assessment requested. However, typically assessments require between 4 and 6 sessions. Please contact reception for an individual quote.
